NEW Resource: A Pocket Guide to Transitioning

AMACH! LGBT+ Galway and ShOUT! LGBT+ Youth Project (YWI Galway) were delighted to launch a brand-new resource last week: ‘A Pocket Guide to Transitioning’!

This pocket guide provides information on public pathways to social, legal, and medical transition in Ireland. It was made to empower trans people and those who support them in navigating their transition. We are very proud that it is the first of its kind in Ireland 🌈

We had some wonderful speakers and performers at the event for an afternoon of learning, empowerment, poetry, and music! We would like to thank everyone who attended the launch and supported the development of this resource.

We hope that this pocket guide helps parents, guardians and family members supporting the trans people in their lives, trans people who have to support themselves, as well as professionals and community organisations who are supporting people on their journey of transition.

If you would like more information or to get your hands on soft or physical copies of the resource, please contact
