Transgender or ‘Trans’ is an umbrella term used to describe a person whose gender identity does not correspond with the sex registered for them at birth.

AMACH! LGBT+ Galway Trans Group

This is an activity based trans group for trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming folk only! (18+) This group meets monthly doing various activities together in a social setting. Parents Group

Our Parents Support Group in collaboration with Youth Work Ireland Galway runs monthly! This is a safe space for parents/guardians of LGBTQ+ young people. Many of the parents who attend this group are parents of young trans people.
